RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time position
• Care for post cardiac cath and post surgical patients
• Manage patients on high risk medications including cardizem, heparin, nitroglycerin, insulin, ketamine, and lidocaine drips
• Care for respiratory patients on NIPPV including BiPAP and AirVo
• Obtain and record initial assessments and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and evaluation of patient outcomes
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Current ACLS certification from AHA required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program required
• Nurses with two or fewer years of experience will be hired at CN I status
