Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with options for day shift (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) or night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Schedule is manager-assigned, no self-scheduling
• On-call required every third weekend
• 2 holidays required per year
• Department: LDRP Tech / OB Tech
• Common cases include vaginal and C-section deliveries in 1 operating suite
• Charge nurse present on each shift and takes an assignment
• May be required to float to other areas as a helping hand or safety sitter
• May be offered the opportunity to float to the main OR
• Charting system: EPIC
• Required certifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA, NCCT, UAP
• North Dakota state license required
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract; 3 shifts if contract is under 13 weeks
• Request time off must be submitted upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract); additional RTO will not be approved
