Electrophysiology Technician Job in Roanoke, VA

You will work as an Electrophysiology Technician at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital LEGACY in Roanoke, Virginia. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Work 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating late shifts
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• One holiday per 13-week contract, rotating with staff
• Weekly pay: $2,940
• EP Lab closes on facility holidays

Role Responsibilities

You will treat adult patients with electrophysiology conditions in a 1:1 patient ratio. Your duties include performing sterile technique, placing EKG leads, recognizing and interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing EP Lab equipment and supplies. You will use Epic for charting and work with equipment including Fluro, Siemens, Ultrasound, Phillips, Carto Ensite, and Cardiolab systems.

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• ARRT(R) with Virginia state license OR CCI RCES/RCIS
• Proven EP Lab experience and EP mapping experience
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and equipment handling
• Strong cardiac background and dysrhythmia interpretation skills

• Must live a minimum of 50 miles from the facility per driver's license address
• All time-off requests must be submitted with your application
• First-time travelers are accepted
