<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ED ER</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM<br>• Block scheduling available but not guaranteed<br>• Charge capability highly preferred<br>• Floating to other units required<br>• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue<br>• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required with some pediatric experience<br>• Travel experience preferred<br>• EPIC EMR experience required<br>• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC<br>• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification<br>• Care for patients with common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure<br>• Work with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun<br>• Treat patients of all ages from newborns to geriatric populations<br>• Work in 64-bed unit with 2 triage areas, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psych beds</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive 64-bed emergency department that provides critical care services to a diverse patient population.
