Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Adult

Job Details:

• Direct and coordinate members of the patient care team with a focus on individualized quality patient care
• Develop patient care plans in partnership with physicians, other patient care team members, patients, and their families
• Demonstrate professional nursing practice skills utilizing the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for all assigned patients
• Provide care appropriate to patient age groups including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Promote teamwork with medical staff and personnel throughout the hospital
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and the Americans with Disabilities Act
• Current licensure as an RN in the State of Maine or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement required
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Required certifications: BCLS and ACLS
• Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills required
• Must have the ability to function independently
