Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Winchester, VA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) for a 91-day travel assignment in Winchester, VA, beginning September 21, 2026. You will work in a home health setting at Winchester Medical Center, providing direct patient care and support to licensed physical therapists.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8 days, no weekends or on-call)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Pay: $1,898
• Assignment Duration: 91 days

Requirements

• Current LPTA licensure (VA or Compact License)
• Minimum 2 years of home health experience as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only)
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Black scrubs required per facility dress code policy

About the Role

You will deliver therapeutic interventions and patient education in home health settings, working under the supervision of physical therapists. Your responsibilities include assisting with patient assessments, implementing treatment plans, documenting patient progress in EPIC, and maintaining accurate home health records. This role focuses on supporting patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions within their own homes.

This is a straightforward, Monday-through-Friday assignment with no weekend obligations or on-call requirements. You will have a predictable schedule and guaranteed hours each week.
