Pharmacy Technician Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work 4x10 day shifts with variable start times of 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 10:00 AM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week and weekly pay of $1,397.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents throughout the hospital
• Transport pharmaceuticals and prepare unit dose exchange systems
• Manage inventory, stocking, and ordering of supplies
• Prepare IV admixtures
• Function under the direction and supervision of a licensed Pharmacist
• Carry out all activities in accordance with state and federal regulations, DEA regulations, TJC standards, and hospital and departmental policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of inpatient hospital experience
• Arizona pharmacy technician license
• CPhT certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Cerner EMR experience
• Omnicell experience
