MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week with varied shift schedules
• 36 hours of weekly guaranteed hours
• Call shifts are required as part of the position
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts based on department needs
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• Produce diagnostic MRI scans and assist radiologists and referring physicians with MRI procedures
• Ensure high-quality patient care for patients ranging in age from infant to geriatric
• Must be proficient in operating various MRI scanning equipment including GE or Philips scanners
• Apply advanced technical skills and physics knowledge to operate MRI scanner efficiently and accurately
• May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
• Perform after-hours standby and callback duties as needed
• Utilize hospital and department computer systems effectively
• Maintain accuracy, communicate effectively under pressure, and manage simultaneous requests professionally
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT in MRI, BLS (AHA)
