Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Work with patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics, primarily adult patients with pediatric intubated patients as needed
• Scrub color: Slate Gray
• Every other weekend required; 5 weekend days out of a six-week schedule
• Float required within facility and to sister campus as needed
• No on-call requirements
• 48 hours of orientation required
• Holiday coverage expected: if 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work 2
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Manage non-invasive ventilation, conventional ventilation, aerosol therapy, and bedside pulmonary function tests
• Perform arterial lines, arterial blood gases, capillary blood gases, and draws from lines
• Provide oxygen management and patient education
• Trauma experience required; pulmonary function testing (spirometry) preferred
• Preferred experience with Viasys Vela, GE Carescape, and Viasys Avea equipment
• Charting systems used: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, RRT, Georgia state license
