ICU RN Job in Waterloo, IA

You will work as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,342.34.

Your Role

You will provide direct critical care nursing in an intensive care unit setting, monitoring and caring for critically ill patients requiring intensive medical supervision. Your responsibilities include:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, three days per week
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed
• Monitor vital signs, lab values, and patient responses to treatment
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical illness

Schedule Details

You will work every third weekend and every other holiday as required. This schedule allows you to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced critical care environment while maintaining predictable time off between assignments.
