Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Wethersfield, CT

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a home health position in Wethersfield, CT. You will provide direct patient care in residential settings, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no on-call responsibilities.

Position Details:

• 5x8 day shift schedule (40 hours per week)
• Home-based patient care through Hartford Home Health
• No weekend or evening commitments
• 91-day assignment starting March 16, 2026

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services in patients' homes
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation protocols
• Document patient progress and communicate with supervising therapists
• Support patients in their residential environments to promote independence and functional recovery

Requirements:

• Valid Connecticut Physical Therapist Assistant license (required before start date)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of home care experience
• Therapy degree

Compensation:

$1,635.20 per week.
