Medical Lab Technician

Opportunity:

MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) - Med Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Two shifts available: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM (second shift needs to be filled first)
• 5 days at 8 hours per shift
• Every other weekend required
• No holidays required
• No on-call responsibilities
• General lab coverage required with generalist skills
• Microbiology duties limited to Gram stain only
• No Antibody ID in Blood Bank required
• Common duties include performing testing, performing quality control, and answering phones
• Phlebotomy duties required only when phlebotomy staff is not on-site (Phlebotomy on-site Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• One floor facility orientation
• LIS System: Meditech
• Equipment: Beckman Coulter, Stago, BD
• Scrub color: Blue
• Required certifications: MLT or MT (ASCP, AMT, or AAB), BLS Certification
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
• Trauma Level: Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• Care setting: Acute
