CVOR Registered Nurse Job in Nashville, TN

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in the Cardiac Valve Operating Room (CVOR). You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week at $3,324.42 weekly, with a start date of July 27, 2026.

Schedule and Expectations

• Work 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Days during the week vary based on unit needs; block schedule not available
• Call requirements mandatory: three layers of call coverage, 24/7, rotating every 6 weeks in addition to your scheduled 3 × 12 hour shifts
• Float required between operating rooms within the unit, not between locations

Clinical Responsibilities

You must be able to scrub and circulate cardiac surgeries. You will work with a complex adult patient population including CABG, valve procedures, repeat cardiac operations, heart failure, ECMO, VAD, heart and lung transplant, pulmonary thromboendarterectomy, cardiac trauma, and adult congenital cases. No pediatric patients.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years CVOR or operating room experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Willingness to accept call requirements as outlined
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Manager interview required to complete offer process
