Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for a 6-month travel assignment in our Telemetry resource pool. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 3x12 schedule, with every other weekend and every other holiday required.

In this role, you will provide nursing care for medical surgical and telemetry patients across multiple specialty floors. Your responsibilities include:

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and provide telemetry care as needed
• Deliver patient care on medical surgical and telemetry units
• Adapt to various specialty assignments based on daily staffing needs
• Float to medical surgical floors including Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, and Surgical Telemetry

You may also be asked to float to our West Lakes Campus location, which is 9.5 miles from downtown Des Moines. Flexibility across specialty units is essential, as you will be assigned based on facility staffing requirements.

You must be willing to float to all medical surgical floors and be comfortable working in a resource pool environment. Current RN licensure in Iowa is required.
