Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Lowville, NY

Lewis County General Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team on a day shift basis. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026, offering $2,190 per week.

Your Role:

• Prepare surgical rooms before and after procedures, ensuring all equipment is properly arranged and sterilized
• Gather and organize necessary supplies and instruments for each surgical case
• Prepare surgical patients for procedures according to facility protocols
• Assist surgeons during operations by providing instruments and supplies in a timely manner
• Clean and inspect surgery rooms before and after each procedure to maintain safety and sterility standards
• Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse

Required Qualifications:

You must meet one of the following:

• High school diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of a nationally accredited Surgical Technologist educational program with current Certified Surgical Technologist credential from a nationally accredited credentialing organization; or
• High school diploma or equivalency plus completion of an appropriate surgical technology training program through a United States military branch or Public Health Service Commissioned Corps; or
• Minimum of one cumulative year of employment as a Surgical Technologist in a healthcare facility within the four years immediately prior to January 1, 2015
