Physical Therapist Inpatient Job in Mattoon, IL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient position at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL. This is a temporary travel assignment running 91 days, starting May 18, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work with inpatients to plan and execute rehabilitation programs that help patients return to a higher level of physical function. Your responsibilities include:

• Utilizing therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, physical modalities, gait training, and manual techniques
• Demonstrating effective communication and strong interpersonal skills to motivate patients
• Providing compassionate care to the inpatient population

Schedule & Compensation

This position offers a 5x8 day shift (days only) with no on-call responsibilities and no weekend requirements. You will earn $2,592 per week.

Requirements

• Active Illinois Physical Therapist License
• BLS (AHA) certification
• 1+ years of physical therapy experience
• Skills checklist current within one year
• Two supervisory reference forms with employment dates
• Must reside outside the 50-mile radius of the facility
