Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts with self-scheduling hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Float between IR, Cath Lab, and EP Lab as needed
• Average of 8-12 cases per day across 3 suites/labs
• On-call requirements for weekends - every other weekend, with weekend call running from 3:30 PM on Friday to 7:00 AM on Monday
• Evening weekday call requirement depends on needs - call shift runs from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM with a 30-minute response time required
• Call team consists of one nurse and two techs
• Holiday call may be required
• Common Cath Lab cases include left and right caths, STEMIs, ICDs, pacemakers, carotids, and peripherals
• Common IR cases include venous placement, port-a-cath, fistula, biliary tube, nephrostomy tube, and IVC filter
• Common EP Lab cases include ablations and devices
• EP Lab experience preferred for travelers
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; travel experience preferred
• Certification requirement: RCIS or ARRT depending on staffing needs
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Fluoro
• Charting system: Cerner - Xper
• Telemetry system: Philips
• Scrubs are provided
• One week of floor-specific orientation typically provided
