MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with start times varying between 7:00 AM and 10:30 AM
• Typically scheduled for one Saturday and one Sunday per month (rotating weekends)
• On-call is optional but not required
• Floating required across multiple campuses as needed (shuttle service available between campuses)
• Competently perform routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce quality diagnostic images
• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures including brain, spine, cardiac, abdominal, pelvic, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed
• Perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs
• Work with adult patient populations with a daily census of approximately 15 patients
• Minimum 3 years of MRI experience required
• Required certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT (R), ARRT MR, and BLS
• Proficiency in gradient echo imaging, multiplanar reconstruction, spin echo images, T-1 and T-2 weighted images, and maximum intensity projection required
• Experience with MRA, MRV, MRCP, perfusion, spectroscopy, and CINE studies preferred
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE required
