*CHS Travel: Overnight Pharmacist/Staff Pharmacist

<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Pharmacist - Pharmacist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work overnight shifts 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM with 7 nights on/7 nights off schedule (Wednesday through Tuesday)<br>• Work independently as the overnight pharmacist without on-call responsibilities<br>• Responsible for safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages<br>• Collaborate with physicians on drug therapy and dosing recommendations<br>• Provide medication education to nursing staff, patients, and physicians<br>• Process NICU orders (experience preferred)<br>• Mix IV admixtures and nutritional supplements<br>• Maintain narcotic accountability and ensure DEA compliance<br>• Participate in medication safety initiatives and adverse drug reaction reporting<br>• Work with Cerner EMR system<br>• Required: 2 years recent hospital pharmacist experience, sterile compounding experience, Arizona Pharmacist License, ACLS and BLS certifications<br>• Board certification and/or accredited pharmacy residency preferred<br>• Must work independently and handle multiple project deadlines<br>• Position involves exposure to video displays, keyboards, and healthcare work environment<br>• No blocked scheduling or 48-hour guarantee options available<br>• Work in 44-bed unit plus emergency department</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center providing acute inpatient hospital services to the community.
