Mammography Technologist Job in Detroit, MI

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, Michigan. This is a temporary position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to contribute to a specialized cancer care environment.

Position Details:

• Shift: 5x8 days (day shift)
• Weekly pay: $2,534.40
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 29, 2026

Responsibilities:

• Assist in breast biopsy procedures including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms
• Instruct and position patients to obtain acceptable radiographs of diagnostic quality
• Ensure work area meets appropriate standards of safety, equipment supply, and cleanliness
• Manually enter data to ensure proper preparation for dictation and billing
• Work one or two Saturdays per month as scheduled
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements:

• 2+ years of mammography experience required
• ARRT (M) Certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required

Expectations:

You must adhere to a strict attendance policy. A maximum of one unscheduled absence and two tardies is permitted during the 13-week contract period. Exceeding this limit may result in immediate termination. You must follow all facility policies and procedures.
