ED Registered Nurse Job in Orangeburg, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at MUSC Health Orangeburg in Orangeburg, SC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 19, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12 hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Role Expectations

• Work in a 37-room emergency department handling approximately 130 visits per day
• Care for all patient age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient ratios determined by acuity
• Float to meet departmental and facility needs
• Available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)

Requirements

• 2 years of emergency room experience (first-timers with ED experience accepted)
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC

Additional Details

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Complete non-billable pre-start modules (approximately 4 hours)
• Interdisciplinary support available: physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $1,892.16
