PACU RN Job in Greeley, CO

Banner Surgery Center–Greeley is seeking an RN for our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). You will provide direct patient care in the immediate post-operative period, assessing patient needs and supporting safe recovery across physical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards
• Review patient history, physical examination findings, diagnostic and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and care team members
• Develop individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical orders, including discharge planning
• Deliver direct patient care, coordinate activities, and supervise healthcare team members
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise the plan as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
• Participate in facility shared leadership, education, and orientation activities
• Contribute to improvement of nursing quality indicators and patient outcomes
• May provide relief charge responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum one year of licensed RN experience in PreOp/PACU, ICU, or ED required
• PreOp/PACU experience strongly preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification required within 90 days if assigned to services involving pediatrics
• Associate's Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or higher

Assignment details: 5x8 day shifts, 182-day duration, starting June 18, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,336.
