CVOR RN Job in Asheville, NC

You will serve as a Cardiac/Vascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN in a rapid response capacity at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a 56-week travel assignment offering 40 hours per week guaranteed, working Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with on-call requirements of staying late 1–2 times per week.

Unit & Environment

• 4-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratio
• Fast-paced, high-acuity critical care setting
• Documentation system: Cerner with BCMA proficiency required
• Equipment: GE Carescape Monitoring and Fuji ultrasound

Your Responsibilities

• Perform large-bore IV starts, chin-to-toe hair removal, medication administration, and skin assessments
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
• Transport patients to OR and assist with induction, intubation, positioning, and skin prep
• Provide independent, high-quality care in a critical care environment
• Float within scope of practice and experience as needed

Required Qualifications

• RN licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical care experience required
• PreOp experience a plus
• Excellent documentation skills and independent work capability
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills with interdepartmental teams

Compensation & Benefits

Weekly pay: $3,650. Assignment begins June 23, 2026. Uniform/scrubs provided.
