About this role
You will work as an Ultrasound Tech in the Radiology and Maternal Fetal Medicine outpatient clinic at BJC West - Saint Lukes Hospital Plaza. This is a 56-week travel assignment beginning August 10, 2026, with a 4x10 day shift schedule.
Your responsibilities include:
- Perform high-risk OB/GYN ultrasound exams on adolescent and adult patients
- Conduct Detailed Anatomic ultrasound exams, Umbilical Artery and Middle Cerebral Artery Dopplers, Multiple Gestation, and Transvaginal Cervical length exams
- Perform procedures across first, second, and third trimesters including Fetal Anatomical Surveys, Amniotic Fluid Index, and Inter/Intra-Orbital Measurements
- Operate GE Voluson Ultrasound Machines (E10, Expert 22) and ViewPoint Reporting software
- Document patient records using EPIC electronic medical records system
- Manage an average daily census of 26 visits per day across 3 rooms
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of high-risk OB experience within a Maternal Fetal Medicine Department
- Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
- Current BLS, ARDMS, and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications
- Royal blue scrubs required
Assignment details:
- Weekly pay: $2,737.73
- Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
- No on-call requirements
- Floating may be required between like departments, units, and facilities
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
You must be an Allied Health Professional with demonstrated expertise in adult and high-risk obstetrics, maternal fetal medicine, GE equipment, PACS systems, and advanced ultrasound techniques including Doppler studies, M-Mode, and isolation precautions.
