Job Details:

• Work night shifts, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours total)
• Variable scheduling to cover shift holes, FMLA, and PTO coverage
• Weekend and holiday requirements as needed
• Oregon RRT license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS, NRP, RRT or CRT acceptable as long as requirements are met
• 3-6 shift department orientation provided
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Work with Draeger ventilators, V60 for BiPAP, ResMed for CPAP, Vapotherm for high flow equipment
• Cover entire hospital including Family Birth Center, Emergency Room, Medical/Surgical, and Critical Care Unit
• Treat patients of all ages including newborns (facility delivers 35 babies per month)
• Perform ventilator, BiPAP, CPAP, and bubble CPAP management on newborns
• Conduct breathing treatments, EKGs, and arterial blood gases
• Assist with intubations (not required to intubate independently)
• Must be able to work independently as majority of shifts are worked alone
• Responsible for daily shift checks and billing of all procedures performed
• Must have experience with bubble CPAP, ABG, and ventilator/BiPAP/CPAP management
• Ability to move quickly and walk 6-8 miles per shift is essential
• Strong prioritization skills and teamwork abilities required
• Use MEDITECH charting system
