OR Circulator RN Job in Glendale, AZ

You will work as an OR Circulator RN at Banner Surgery Center – Thunderbird in Glendale, Arizona. This is a day shift position scheduled 5x8 hours, running for 84 days starting June 15, 2026. You will earn $2,166.64 per week.

In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the operating room. You will provide circulating nurse responsibilities during surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians. Your responsibilities include:

• Assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs and discharge planning requirements
• Formulating and implementing individualized plans of care based on assessment data
• Documenting all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely
• Evaluating patient progress toward goals and expected outcomes
• Providing patient and family education as needed
• Managing staff and workflow, including possible relief charge responsibilities

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required within 90 days if assigned to pediatric services
• Minimum one year licensed RN experience in the OR
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
• Physical agility, fine motor skills, and adequate eye-hand coordination
• Willingness to use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
