About this role

You will work as an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia. This is a day-shift position running 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM across four 10-hour shifts per week. The assignment runs for 91 days, beginning June 16, 2026, and pays $2,960 per week.

In this role, you will perform a wide variety of technical procedures in Interventional Radiology, Vascular Hybrid, and Neuro-interventional settings. You will work alongside radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists to assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Your responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating and maintaining sterile technique throughout all procedures
  • Preparing and managing necessary supplies and equipment
  • Verifying patient identity using two identifiers and confirming written orders and consent
  • Positioning patients and applying appropriate exposure factors while ensuring radiation protection
  • Educating patients and families on post-procedural home care instructions
  • Working with independent judgment and initiative to support quality patient outcomes

On-call responsibilities are required with a 30-minute response time and a maximum of 14 days per 30-day schedule. You must remain flexible with hours to meet departmental needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Interventional Special Procedures within IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid settings
  • High School Diploma, GED, or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT-CV, ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or RCIS certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Competency in interventional and vascular procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
  • Understanding of anatomy and pathology and their impact on procedural quality

ACLS or ACLS-I certification is preferred at the time of hire.
