ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - CCU

Job Details:

• Function as hospital float pool staff with expectation to float throughout the hospital including the Emergency Department
• Primary work location will be in the ER hold area
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends
• Work every other weekend with no call responsibilities
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No block schedule requests accepted
• 2 years of nursing experience required, unit accepts first-time travelers
• Must work major holidays if they fall during assignment period
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, isolation precautions/PPE, management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), titrating cardiac drips, and titrating vasoactive drips
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with all requests finalized at time of submission
• Full compliance required to start on time with all documents due Tuesday prior to start date
