<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - PACU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in 40-bed Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)<br>• Patient ratio of 1:2<br>• Scheduling requires working 6-week schedules with 3 call shifts required within each 6-week period<br>• Float within peri-anesthesia areas including Endoscopy, PreOp, and Phase II<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS<br>• NIH Stroke Scale experience required<br>• Advanced ventilator monitoring skills needed<br>• Trauma and pediatric experience preferred<br>• Unit support includes HUC available 7:30 AM-4:00 PM and 4 PCTs scheduled daily<br>• PCTs can draw labs, perform catheterizations, and transport patients<br>• Work with standard PACU equipment<br>• Documentation using Cerner system<br>• Dress code: Surgical green or navy scrubs</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This flagship healthcare facility is an 815-bed hospital that has been recognized as one of America&#39;s 50 Best Hospitals from 2020-2023, identifying it among the top 1% of hospitals nationwide for clinical quality.
