Respiratory Therapist Job in Hilo, HI

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 15-week assignment at Hilo Medical Center in Hilo, Hawaii, beginning June 15, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Three 12-hour day shifts weekly (36 hours total)
• 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM shift times
• Weekly pay: $2,181.24
• No guarantee of hours

Role Responsibilities

You will provide comprehensive respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. Your duties include continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support, physician consulting, and CPR administration as needed. You will manage all aspects of respiratory care and work with computerized charting and Pyxis medication management systems.

Equipment Experience Required

• PB 980 and PB 840 Ventilators
• V60 and Para Pac Transport Vent equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Active Hawaii respiratory therapist license required by start date
• RRT certification
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification (NRP preferred)
• No first assignments accepted
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical or religious exception required

You must arrive on Thursday, June 12, 2026, before your start date for a Friday employee health appointment on June 13, 2026.
