52101 - Travel: RN - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Multiple shifts available with variable start times ranging from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Full-time position
• Must have minimum 2 years experience with most recent experience in Emergency Department - Level 1, 2, or 3 Trauma
• Care for diverse patient population including clinic-type patients, strokes, STEMIs, Level I traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatrics, behavioral health, and all emergency department cases
• Practice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of clinical situations
• Provide routine and complex care with ability to focus on long-range goals and plans
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
• Utilize nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Required certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA only)
• New Mexico RN license or compact license required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
• Complete annual competency verification requirements
