OR RN Job in Rio Rancho, NM

You will work as an OR RN at Presbyterian Health Services Inc in Rio Rancho, NM. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 28, 2026, working 5x8 nights at $2,575.58 per week.

Your responsibilities include:

• Provide direct patient care to assigned patients during your shift, utilizing the nursing process from assessment through evaluation and documentation
• Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as required
• Assess patient needs, plan and implement care, evaluate outcomes, and document all actions and patient responses
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Initiate, utilize, and document appropriate protocols and standards of care specific to OR operations
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols
• Document all care according to facility policy and regulatory standards
• Identify and address patient and family learning needs and discharge planning from admission through ongoing care
• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population-specific, age-specific, and procedure-protocol education and competency testing per unit standards
• Ensure safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care

You must hold a current RN license valid in New Mexico. This role requires flexibility to work in an operating room setting with variable patient acuity and procedure types. You will be expected to maintain current OR competencies and adapt to the facility's policies and clinical protocols.
