SLP - SLP Outpatient

Job Details:

• Work Thursday-Monday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or Sunday-Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Mix of inpatient/acute rehabilitation unit and outpatient services
• Primary focus on outpatient pediatric coverage with adult acute rehab evaluations and treatment on weekend days
• Occasional home health services
• 6 visits per day with patient ratios of 5 during days and 0 on weekends
• Float required to inpatient and acute rehabilitation units
• 72 hours of orientation required
• 2 years recent relevant experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
• Valid California state license required at time of submission
• Epic experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Assist with clinical supervision of assistants and aides
• Serve as clinical instructor for assigned students
