CT Technologist Job in Santa Cruz, CA

Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts. You'll work 4x10 hour schedules from 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM in an acute care environment where you'll perform 10–20 CT scans and X-ray procedures per shift.

Your responsibilities include:

• Operating two CT scanners: Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed
• Performing routine CT scans, X-ray procedures, Virtual Colonography, and gated procedures
• Managing ER patient imaging needs
• Using Cerner and McKesson PACS systems for all charting and documentation
• Collaborating with Nighthawk service for radiologist coverage during night shifts
• Floating to Radiology as needed to support operational demands

Required qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT-CT (CT registry)
• ARRT-R (Radiography registry)
• California state license
• Fluoroscopy certification
• Proven CT and X-ray experience

You'll receive 3–4 shifts of facility-specific orientation to familiarize yourself with protocols and equipment. Night shifts are the busiest periods, offering high volume and dynamic case variety. Holidays are worked into your rotation and follow the same hours as weekends. Please wear teal scrubs per facility dress code.

This is a 91-day assignment beginning August 17, 2026. Weekly pay is $3,110.40.
