Job Details:

• Supervise pharmacy/retail operations including oversight of pharmacy technicians
• Direct, manage, and supervise daily administrative operations to ensure highest quality service delivery consistent with professional, regulatory, and governmental standards
• Develop operational and financial outcome measures, related tracking and monitoring systems
• Direct, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures
• Proactively assess program and service effectiveness and facilitate continuous process improvement
• Develop and supervise staff through timely feedback and use of appropriate Human Resource policies
• Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate computer-based information and dispensing systems
• Develop, manage, and supervise purchasing and inventory management functions
• Facilitate professional growth of staff by assessing learning needs and coordinating learning opportunities
• Prepare monthly progress and operational reports identifying areas of improvement and concern
• Participate in departmental orientation, on-the-job training, and quality assurance programs
• Bachelor of Science degree and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of Pharmacy required
• PharmD preferred with 1-year residency (PGY1) preferred
• Minimum 3 years of pharmacist experience required; minimum 2 years in hospital practice preferred
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with 2 years of management experience required
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Current and active, unrestricted Pharmacist license required; Arizona license preferred
• Licensed to administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications preferred
• Hospital experience required
