Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment at CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus in Richmond, VA. This is a full-time position working 4x10 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 91-day duration beginning April 20, 2026.

About the Role

You will work as a Special Procedures Technologist in the Angiography/Special Procedures unit, which handles a high volume of neuro interventional radiology cases. You will support physicians and nursing staff in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures using advanced imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with neuro IR procedures in angiography and special procedures
• Operate Phillips and GE biplane imaging equipment
• Document procedures and patient information using the Meditech EMR system
• Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Respond to on-call responsibilities for after-hours and weekend coverage as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including 5 RNs and 4 technologists on day shift

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based technologist experience
• Demonstrated experience with neuro IR procedures
• Current BLS certification
• Allied Health Professional degree

Work Environment

You will wear navy scrubs and work in a fast-paced interventional radiology setting. The team is collaborative and experienced in managing complex neuro cases.

Compensation & Duration

Weekly pay is $3,650. This is a 91-day travel assignment.
