ED Registered Nurse Job in Waupaca, WI

ThedaCare - Waupaca is hiring a Registered Nurse for its 8-bed emergency department. This is a 13-week travel contract position with a start date of June 29, 2026.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours weekly)
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation required
• Float to other ThedaCare facilities as needed
• No on-call or callback requirements
• 8-hour unbillable orientation included

Compensation

Weekly pay of $2,332.80. GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week or when the unit closes for holidays.

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 3+ years of RN experience
• Minimum 2+ years of emergency department experience
• At least one completed travel contract required (no new travelers)
• Epic charting experience within the last year
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Associate degree or certificate (Bachelor's degree strongly preferred)

Location Requirements

You must not be from the facility or live within a 50-mile radius of ThedaCare Corporate Center in Neenah, WI.
