Physical Therapist Job in Detroit, MI

You will provide comprehensive physical therapy services at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, working with patients who need rehabilitation across a range of conditions and functional limitations.

Your Role

• Administer tests and treatments to assess patient needs and establish baseline functional status
• Develop realistic functional goals in collaboration with patients and their families
• Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities and procedures with demonstrated knowledge of indications and contraindications
• Work with diverse patient populations requiring rehabilitation services
• Maintain professional standards and comprehensive documentation requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care

Assignment Details

This is a 56-week travel assignment beginning June 15, 2026. You will work a 5x8 day shift from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday. You will earn $2,304 weekly.

Location

You will be based in Detroit, Michigan at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (032) facility.

Your experience in physical therapy assessment, treatment planning, and patient-centered care will be essential in this role. You will interact with patients at various stages of recovery and help them achieve meaningful functional outcomes.
