Job Details:

• Perform, coordinate, and monitor neuroscience testing for inpatient and outpatient populations
• Interview each patient for medical history pertinent to electrodiagnostic testing
• Assess each patient utilizing care principles in accordance with growth and development and age-specific needs
• Prepare and adjust equipment prior to diagnostic testing appropriate for each patient
• Implement diagnostic tests and/or procedures according to physician orders
• Communicate to ordering physician the completion of diagnostic testing and technician impression for final report
• Maintain standards of the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AAEM)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of neurodiagnostic experience required
• NICU EEG experience strongly preferred
• Successful completion of training in performing EEG procedures under the supervision of a qualified technician required
• ABRET certification preferred
• On-call and weekend requirements to be determined
