PACU Registered Nurse Job in Tracy, CA

Join Sutter Health Tracy Community Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This is a 91-day travel assignment running 4x10 hour day shifts, starting July 6, 2026. You'll earn $2,544.48 weekly.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in the post-operative recovery environment, monitoring and managing patients as they emerge from anesthesia. Your responsibilities include airway management, central line care, post-procedure monitoring, and addressing the physical, psychosocial, and psychological needs of recovering patients using the nursing process.

Required Experience & Credentials

• California RN license
• Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in critical care or PACU in an acute care setting
• Minimum 2 years experience with airway management
• Experience with central lines and post-procedure care in critical care/PACU environment
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
• EPIC experience required

Submission Requirements

You must provide copies of current certifications, a 7-year work history verification, 2 references from within the last year, and Nursys verification completed within 2 weeks of submission. Include the Sutter Cover Sheet with your application.

Additional Information

You'll complete orientation modules (1–5 hours average, recorded e-learning format). Lab work is required within 3–5 days of signing. The position requires a 50-mile travel radius. Holiday time off is limited to one approval during your assignment.
