Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts for 13-week contract
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for Medical-Surgical patients
• Must have New York license in hand - no exceptions
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must be located more than 75 miles from facility
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH (must include valid NIHSS in submission)
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Floating required within skillset
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white
• Provide cardiac monitoring and emergency response including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Use Rapid Response/Code teams as needed
• Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy with peripheral line care and management
• Manage respiratory equipment including nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management
• Implement isolation precautions and infection control measures
• Care for acute stroke patients and those with other neurological disorders
• Provide evidence-based care for acute medical patients
• Complete pre-start modules (billable up to 5 hours, total may reach 10 hours)
