Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

You'll work as an RN on a 30-bed orthopedic unit at HCA HealthONE Swedish in Denver. This is a 91-day travel nursing assignment with 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). You'll earn $1,708.20 per week.

Your responsibilities include:

• Care for 5–6 patients per shift on the orthopedics unit
• Perform IV starts, Foley and straight catheterization, and CPM (continuous passive motion) application
• Support early mobilization and post-operative recovery
• Work with specialty equipment including nerve block pumps and On-Q balls
• Collaborate with 1 charge nurse, 4–6 bedside RNs, and 2–4 patient care technicians

You will care for both elective orthopedic patients and orthopedic trauma patients. The unit uses Meditech as its electronic medical record system.

Required qualifications:

• RN degree
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience as an orthopedic RN
• Current BLS certification

Preferred qualifications:

• Med/Surg experience
• ACLS certification
• Meditech EMR experience
