Cath Lab Technologist Job in Erie, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 12-week assignment at NEW UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. This is a full-time role offering $3,266 weekly pay.

Schedule and Hours

• Monday through Friday, 5×8 day shifts
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• On-call coverage required for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Role Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures in EP and Cath Lab positions with independent judgment
• Demonstrate proper positioning and radiographic techniques for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Practice radiation safety protocols including use of lead shielding and monitoring devices
• Function in first assist position and administer contrast under physician direction
• Maintain point of care testing standards with daily quality control
• Identify patients using two identifiers and utilize universal protocol
• Ensure proper coding and tracking of images through PACS system

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• One of the following: ARRT Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology, ARRT Certificate, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred but not required
• Act 34 clearance required
