Laboratory - Medical Lab Technician

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
• Previous blood bank experience required, preferably in high-paced trauma environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (local travelers not accepted)
• Compact or Louisiana license required in hand upon submittal
• AHA certifications required
• Must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing if booked with pending license
• Orientation held 5 days per week with billable modules completed during orientation
• Two manager/supervisor references required to obtain clearance to start contract
• NURSYS reports must be up to date within 4 weeks of submission date
• No call-ins allowed - strict attendance policy
• Must be separated from Ochsner Health System for 1 full year before returning as travel if previously worked as permanent staff
