CVOR Technologist Travel Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with cardiac and vascular experience for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work 4x10-hour day shifts in the operating room, supporting complex surgical procedures across multiple specialties.

About the Role

As a CVOR Technologist, you will assist surgical teams in the operating room, preparing equipment, organizing instruments, and maintaining the sterile field during procedures. Your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining sterile technique throughout all surgical cases
• Preparing and organizing surgical instruments and equipment
• Assisting surgeons and nursing staff during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, neuro, and orthopedic procedures
• Monitoring and managing instrument counts and specimen handling
• Collaborating with OR leadership to support a safe surgical environment

What We're Looking For

You must hold current NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification at the time of application. Strong clinical experience in cardiac, vascular, thoracic, neurological, and orthopedic surgery is essential. You will bring attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a commitment to patient safety and infection control.
