Telemetry RN Job in Austin, TX

Join South Austin Hospital TX as a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract. You'll work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend rotation and no on-call requirements.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with 5:1 to 6:1 patient ratios
• Monitor patients on GE Telemetry Monitoring equipment and Welch Allyn Vital Signs equipment
• Perform wound vac management, CPM machine care, external fixation monitoring, and bracing support
• Document and communicate using the MediTech EMR system
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Basic Life Support certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• TNCC certification

Compensation and Timeline

You'll earn $1,708.20 per week. This assignment runs 91 days, beginning June 15, 2026.
