Physical Therapist Acute Care Job in Odessa, TX

Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist for acute care. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 5x8 days, with weekend coverage every 4th weekend and on-call availability on Sundays for CVA patients as needed. You may be floated to the outpatient area when clinical needs require it.

About the Role

You will work with a daily census of 75–100 patients across multiple populations, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Your clinical focus will include cardiovascular, trauma, orthopedic, neuro, and cardiopulmonary patients. You will perform critical care early mobility procedures and deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services.

Your Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• BLS certification required

Interdisciplinary Support

You will have access to a collaborative care team including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries to support comprehensive patient care.
