Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule options of 3x12 or 4x12 shifts available
• Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Float to similar Telemetry units may be required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work on a full telemetry floor with centralized monitoring and a monitoring technician
• Patient diagnoses include pulmonary, cardiac, and general medicine/med-surg conditions
• Must have experience with Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
• Skills required include cardiac telemetry, Heparin protocols, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and telemetry monitoring
• Unit utilizes team nursing model
• IV Team interdisciplinary support available
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Royal Blue/White (RN)
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be through American Heart Association)
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
• Parking is free for travelers
