Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 48-hour contract position
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Float to other units as needed
• Fast-paced, high acuity unit with a team-oriented environment
• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 days, 1:5-6 nights on a 44-bed unit with embedded IMC (6 beds)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required - recent acute care experience is a must
• High acuity and cardiology experience required
• Care for high acuity, cardio, and med tele patients including post-operative patients
• Experience with IVs, PCA, epidurals, Ketamine drips, complex wounds and burns, trauma, tube feeding, NGs, drains, Foleys, Heparin drips, Wound Vac dressings, specialty beds, central lines, PICCs, PEG, trachs, chest tubes, and JPs required
• EMR system: EPIC
• Required certification: BLS
• Scrub color: Any color
• Fragrance-free unit
• No AirPods/headphones, hoodies, unprofessional attire, tight/ill-fitting clothing, open-toe shoes, logos/graphics, gel polish, or artificial nails permitted
• Must be a quick learner, team player, flexible, adaptable, and accountable
