PACU RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at OU Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is a 12-hour shift role with an 89-day duration, starting August 24, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,530.80.

In this position, you will provide direct patient care to post-operative patients during their recovery from anesthesia. You will assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and monitor their physiological responses closely. Your duties will include:

• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observe manifestations, and intervene when necessary
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Note all changes in physician orders on assigned patients
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Deliver competent patient care across a variety of health conditions ranging from simple to complex
• Interact with patients and families to share care plans during hospitalization and at discharge
• Inform patients and families of hospital procedures
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed

Requirements: You must hold an active RN license and have Level 1 experience in Pediatrics. Required certifications include BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
